AI (Artificial Intelligence)
Artificial intelligence will definitely get a big step up. End of last year itself Google’s AI helped solve the protein folding problem and many other problems. AI will help us push new boundaries and help solve humanity’s biggest problems.
Drones and automation
Drones will start delivering packages and identify risk places in time of the pandemic. Amazon has already started using drones to deliver products. Drones can help provide 24/7 service for medicine and delivery of all kinds. Drones for security and police are already being used.
ARM
Advanced risks machines have taken over the CPU industry. While every manufacturer has started adopting ARM chips. Intel is trying is best to catch-up. Intel will release its 11th generation core processors code-named “rocket lake”. The new ARM structure that has been used in Apple’s M1 processors has destroyed the competition in terms of speed and low energy used. These new ARM CPU’s will be the future with better speed and lower energy use with longer battery life. Microsoft surface X also has ARM but not optimized enough to compete with Apple’s MacBook. Apple plans to release 2 new MacBook’s this year with 2nd generation M1 chips. Safe to say ARM will dominate the industry next decade unless Intel or any other company comes up with something better.
5G
The new 5G network will defiantly become more mainstream this year as 5G station are adopted throughout the world. 5G is slowly catching up everywhere it should be mainstream by the end of the year.
